Sheeting material Karbosil-P is a "sandwich" from polysiloxanecarbonate block copolymer on the polyethylene terephthalate underlay which can be removed or can be used in combination with block copolymer.

Karbosil-P is transparent gas- and vapor-permeable film-membrane used in gas-membrane technology, in pervaporation of liquid aqueous-alcoholic and other mixtures as intermediate optical layer in inorganic glass and various coatings.

Karbosil-P is also used in medicine as a material for treatment of wounds and burns. Karbosil-P does not stick to the wound, prevent form penetration of infectious bacteria, non-allergenic.

Karbosil-P, because of its transparency, enables visual observation of reparation. Exhibits high vapor permeability at the level of healthy skin.

Adherent variant of material is used for covering of operation field during extended cardiac and lungs surgery.

Karbosil-P can be treated by radiation and gas sterilization.
