Electrical impregnating compounds (without solvent) type KP

Electrical impregnating compounds without solvent type KP appear to be solutions of unsaturated epoxy ethers in oligoester acrylates, polymerized in the presence of peroxide compounds without evolution of volatile products and are designed for impregnation of winding of electrical machines and equipment with electrical insulation in heat-resistance class B and F.

Compounds type KP are characterized by combination of high cementing capacity (including working temperatures) and moisture resistance with high-speed drying and long life span with induced initiator.

Compounds KP-303A, KP-50P, KP-303B in the first place are meant to be used for impregnation of products from dropping (jet) devices with current and radiant-heat drying. It is possible to use compounds for impregnation of electrical equipment by dipping method or vacuum-injection infiltration. These marks can be delivered as two-component compositions and at the buyer's request can be packed with different hardening agents.

For dropping-jet infiltration it is recommended to use more active paste of benzoyl peroxide (ammount of paste - 2-3% by wt; curing temperature - +125 - +130°C , curing time - 10-15 min.) For dipping method or vacuum-injection infiltration the use of dicumyl peroxide, which promotes longer life of working solution, is preferrable.

Compound KP-303B is used for impregnation of winding by dipping method or vacuum-injection infiltration. It is delivered as one-component composition with inserted curing agent - dicumyl peroxide.
